MIAMI — Miami FC introduced Thursday that head coach Lewis Neal will leave the franchise at the close of the 2023 year.
Neal joined the group in December 2022 as an assistant mentor right before being named head mentor the next June pursuing the departure of Anthony Pulis.
Neal took around the club that experienced 13 points soon after 15 matches and was equipped to change the club around with a document of 11-8-15 less than his steering, missing out on playoff competition by only a head-to-head tie breaker consequence with Detroit.
“We drastically appreciate the favourable effect Lewis had on the club when he stepped in as Head Coach all through the middle of the year,” group CEO Michael Williamson reported. “He was place in a incredibly tricky predicament and with his strength of character and professionalism was in a position to direct the club to competing for a playoff spot by the stop of the time.”
