MIAMI – The struggle for 911 information continues as a Hialeah councilman goes head-to-head with the mayor in a special conference.
Councilman Bryan Calvo is suing Hialeah Mayor Esteban Bovo Jr.
Calvo statements the mayor and metropolis are charging him thousands of bucks for an open information request pertaining to the 911 system.
“When I begin inquiring concerns about 911, now is when they say hey we have to redact. We have to do all these matters that are not demanded below the metropolis constitution for an elected official,” reported Calvo.
“Answering calls in a timely way. Generating confident they dispatch all of the information and facts they will need to do. We have an understanding of it. This is a nationwide trouble,” explained Bovo Jr.
Fellow councilman Jesus Tundidor proposed the resolution that states the town does not approve of Calvo’s lawsuit or his actions.

The council suggests Calvo is acting exclusively on his possess behalf and not on behalf of the metropolis, but an too much to handle vast majority of citizens at the meeting do not agree with the resolution.

Just before the council voted, councilman Calvo broke down the causes he is suing the mayor, at one particular place bringing up a meeting amongst the two males.

The resolution was passed by the city council, with Councilman Bryan Calvo currently being the only one to vote against it.
Calvo also suggests that even while the resolution was handed towards him, he will carry on his battle in court with his lawsuit.
