MIAMI — Two persons had been hurt soon after a boat evidently crashed into a concrete channel marker Wednesday afternoon off of Homestead, sending three people into the water off of Black Point Marina, authorities reported.

Two of the victims ended up flown to Jackson South Medical Heart pursuing the incident, Miami-Dade Fireplace Rescue explained in an emailed statement. Details about their problems was pending.
A third man or woman was evaluated at the scene but did not want to be hospitalized, officers explained.
Crews from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission responded to the scene and transported the victims to land pursuing the boat crash.
The captain of a boat that was in the area at the time of the crash stated he gathered some of the debris next the incident.
“As we pulled up on the edge of the channel, we could scent fuel,” Chris Adams stated. “I assumed that intended a boat went down.”
