MIAMI — The South Dade Black Historical past Heart honored the memory of the late South Florida indigenous D’Sean Perry on Friday evening.

The center unveiled a new show known as the “Really like-Artwork-Soccer” to that “captures the spirit of [Perry’s] existence and effects on the South Dade Neighborhood and the globe.” The show highlighted some of his artwork and other shows that represented his legacy.
Perry — who graduated in 2019 from Gulliver Preparatory Academy in Pinecrest before likely on to engage in football at UVA — was one particular of the a few College of Virginia soccer gamers who had been shot and killed when coming back again from a university excursion in November 2022.
The other two college student-athletes killed had been Devin Chandler and Lavel Davis Jr.
