MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — The Miami Dolphins defense could get a raise before long with the return of All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
Ramsey, whom the Dolphins acquired in an offseason trade with the Los Angeles Rams, will practice for the very first time this year on Wednesday, according to a report by the NFL Community. He will not get the field when Miami faces Philadelphia on Sunday evening as the team eases him again into action, the community reported.
Ramsey has skipped the very first 6 games of the season after undergoing operation in July to restore a torn meniscus in his left knee. He suffered the personal injury early in schooling camp but has been forward of routine in his rehabilitation.
His return will open up the 21-day window to activate him to the 53-person roster.
Ramsey posted photos on social media Wednesday displaying a new haircut with the caption “The Restart.”
Coach Mike McDaniel indicated recently that a return was imminent, indicating Ramsey was on “the favourable facet of returning.”
“He’s undertaking fantastic,” McDaniel claimed soon after Sunday’s win in excess of Carolina. “When he’s completely ready to go, he’ll be a loud voice in my ear.”
