MIAMI – Two of the last three CBS Miami Nat Moore Trophy winners have played on the defensive facet of the football.
This week’s nominee, linebacker Jeremiah Marcelin from Miami Norland Large University, is no unique.
He is seeking to turn some heads this season.
CBS Sports activities Miami’s Trish Christakis tells us what presents him his inspiration to shine in the area.
The 6’2″ linebacker provides a great deal of leadership to Norland’s soccer crew. He started actively playing at 11 yrs outdated, when he reported his 1st coach, who was a previous Marine, adjusted his everyday living.
“That set the precedent for how I am currently with my relatives. Simple never on a thin line, really don’t seed all over, generally do what you have to do, no BS you know.”
Marcelin been given a bunch of gives from in-point out faculties like UM, but dedicated to Pitt and claimed football has provided him a system to further himself in lifetime.
“I see myself going to the NFL and actively playing for a although, but I also see employing that to create a genuine estate company for myself, open up up a nonprofit to give again to the community.”
For Marcelin, soccer has supplied him the opportunity to give back to the group which is what the CBS Miami Nat Moore Trophy is about. So, for him, a nomination would be the entire world.
“It would be a blessing considering that the leap actively playing football everything has been a blessing for me and I never just take none of it for granted. When that mentor took me in for the very first time, I always reported he is the initial blessing and successful an award like this… I wouldn’t get it for granted.”
