Dawn — A touching devotion on Friday at Markham Park in Dawn honored a teen who gave his existence striving to help you save a further.
Metropolis officers demonstrated how to adequately use existence rings to aid protect against drowning fatalities. Sarah Perry made the Aden Perry Hero Daily life Ring initiative and established up the Superior Samaritan Scholarship Fund to honor her son’s legacy.
Aden, 17, died in April 2022 though seeking to rescue yet another teenager immediately after their car crashed into a lake. Sadly, both of those teenagers shed their life in the incident.
“In my way, I’m continuing his operates,” Sarah claimed. “And, it is my hope that every city — each and every waterway — will sign up for on my mission.”
Signs of the life ring posts function QR codes that lead to info on swimming lessons and drinking water basic safety strategies. The approach is to inevitably have the rings posted in 10 Broward County parks.
