Sophie Turner would like her kids to return to England.
The “Match of Thrones” alum filed court documents towards estranged partner Joe Jonas on Sept. 21 “as a outcome of the wrongful retention” of their kids—daughter Willa, 3, and a 14-month-old daughter whose initials are outlined as DMJ in the paperwork—in New York Town “from their habitual home of England.”
In accordance to the docs, submitted in New York Metropolis and received by E! News, Turner—a U.K. citizen—claims the wrongful retention of the small children “began on or about” Sept. 20.
E! News has achieved out to the Jonas Brothers singer’s rep for remark and has not yet heard back.
The documents also depth the “breakdown” of the duo’s break up, stating it “transpired very all of a sudden” right after an alleged argument on Aug. 15.
“On or about September 1, 2023, the Father submitted a divorce situation versus the Mom in Florida,” the docs point out. “On or about September 5, 2023, the Mother found out by the media that the Father experienced filed for divorce.”

On Sept. 17, Turner and Jonas achieved to go over their separation, throughout which she allegedly “reiterated the parties’ agreed strategy for the children to return household to England that week.”
Having said that, the filing notes that despite remaining set to go away the U.S. with the children on Sept. 20, the “Do Revenge” actress has been not able to do so.
“The Father has possession of the kid’s passports,” the docs allege. “He refuses to return the passports to the Mom and refuses to mail the young children property to England with the Mom. “
The paperwork also alleges that the family—including their two children, who are twin U.S. and U.K. citizens—relocated to England in April and ended up in the course of action of purchasing a home in the Henley spot.
Per the docs, “The functions looked ahead to spending their Christmas 2023 vacation with the children, relatives, and good friends in their new residence in England.”
Turner and Jonas confirmed their break up on Sept. 6 in a joint community statement.
“After 4 great decades of relationship we have mutually resolved to amicably close our relationship,” they wrote in a concept, posted to their respective Instagram accounts. “There are lots of speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united determination and we sincerely hope that anyone can regard our wishes for privacy for us and our youngsters.”
