MIAMI – The CBS News Miami Subsequent Climate group is tracking Hurricane Lee which is in the Central Atlantic.
With the 5 p.m. Wednesday advisory, Lee turned a hurricane and was anticipated to strengthen into a perilous key Category 4 hurricane by Friday because the wind shear will reduce and it will be above incredibly heat drinking water.
At 11 p.m. Wednesday, the heart of Lee was about 1,035 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands.
It was relocating west-northwest at 14 mph with sustained winds of 80 mph.
Whilst Lee is forecast to perhaps keep north or be in close proximity to the northern Leeward Islands and Puerto Rico this weekend, there is even now some uncertainty relating to just wherever the middle will observe for the duration of this time frame. In accordance to CBS News Miami Chief Meteorologist and Hurricane Specialist Ivan Cabrera Lee is forecast to change to the north and away from the US coastline.
Cabrera stated there are no worldwide computer styles that clearly show Lee as a menace to the US. The only uncertainty is when it will take a transform to the north.
