MIAMI – Miami-Dade police handed out flyers in a southwest Miami-Dade community Wednesday early morning as they perform to acquire qualified prospects on a gentleman who they say tried to kidnap a toddler.
“The purpose we are right here is to increase consciousness and have the local community help us find this specific,” explained Detective Jenesis Mena as officers went door to doorway at an space apartment making.
On Friday, Sept. 15th, a mom and her two-calendar year-old son have been at Southridge Park on SW 192nd Avenue when noticed a male, who is pictured on the flyer, head over to the playground spot.
She said he sat down on 1 of the park’s benches. When she went to leave, the lady stated she felt her son acquiring pulled away from her. She stated when she turned all-around, she noticed the gentleman had grabbed her son by the shoulders and was seeking to leave with him. She fought back again.
“They got into a struggle. She was ready to get the baby again and leave from the park,” mentioned Mena.
The girl explained the male as staying about 6 feet tall, about 200 pounds, and about 30 to 45 several years old.
Mena said she hoped another person would figure out him and give the police a simply call.
“As a mom, I can only consider the worry of anyone with their boy or girl who was striving to participate in at the park,” she mentioned.
