Essential WEST — A youthful guy was arrested Saturday evening right after he was stopped on US-1 drunkenly driving a Vital West Golfing Club cart.
James Riley Jackson, 20, was billed with D.U.I., larceny, auto theft, felony mischief/house problems, possession of alcohol though underage and possession of a phony I.D.
In accordance to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Business, officers stopped a northbound golf cart close to mile marker 5 around 5 p.m. next reports of a drunken golf cart driver leaving the Shell gas station at Important Haven.
When confronted, officers discovered many opened and unopened bottles of alcohol inside the cart. Furthermore, the cart’s roof was dented and bent, a part of the windshield was missing and the front wheels were also weakened.
The Crucial West Law enforcement Division is investigating experiences of earlier destruction done to the program as properly as the stolen cart. Jackson was taken to jail.
