LAHAINA — It is really been a lot more than a month given that deadly wildfires swept across Maui leaving powering a path of destruction, leaving 97 lifeless.
On Tuesday, the University of Hawaii shocked nearly 200 substantial college seniors in Lahaina with a remarkable chance – Entire UH scholarships.
The University of Hawaii Procedure President, David Lassner, had this to say to the learners.
“All that you have gone by. Some of you have shed households, loved ones members, um your dad and mom have dropped positions. I know it’s a genuinely hard time. And what we want to do at the University of Hawaii is make guaranteed that you have the possibility to go to college or university. We are giving every single one of you Lahainaluna seniors, including these who designed other arrangements right after August 8th, a comprehensive scholarship to any UH campus to which you are admitted,” said David Lassner.
Pupils from the large college have been attending classes at a momentary web-site following the August 8th wildfire destroyed their college.
