FORT LAUDERDALE – Police have launched a new picture of the suspect in a eco-friendly hoodie at an ATM, thought to be related to a kidnapping and sexual assault.

The criminal offense spree all commenced all over 5 a.m. Saturday early morning.

As a few sat in a vehicle on the 100 block of Southwest 3rd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, a person with a gun came up to their window.

“All I heard was a loud crash, and then I heard a guy say get out of the auto, get out of the automobile,” reported witness Donato Pionegro.

The gentleman in the driver’s seat hopped out of the automobile and the suspect hopped in with the girl in the passenger seat.

What took place subsequent can only be explained as despicable.

“That male finally robbed them and finally took the car and sexually battered the feminine — the grownup woman in the motor vehicle,” said detective Jennifer Saint Jean with Fort Lauderdale police.

Investigators say this suspect also forced the feminine sufferer to get out revenue from an ATM at a neighborhood Financial institution of The united states.

The victim and the vehicle have been afterwards identified on I-95.

“The ordeal went roughly two hrs in size and it was an ordeal for her to say the least,” explained Det. Saint Jean.

The community is now on edge and appalled by the callous crime.

“Terrible, which is terrible, that is disgusting,” stated Mario Montalvo.

“It can make me really mad that a person is that brazen to do some thing to damage anyone to that capacity,” said Liz Schaibley.

The sufferer was taken to the hospital with non-existence-threatening accidents.
