The breakout nation singer whose hit music “Rich Adult men North of Richmond” worked its way into the 1st Republican presidential most important discussion dropped a bomb Friday on the persons who have been selling it as a conservative anthem.
“It was humorous looking at my music … at the presidential debate,” Oliver Anthony mentioned in a video he made sitting in the cab of his truck that he posted on his formal YouTube channel. “Since I wrote that music about individuals folks.”
Anthony delivered the video broadside just after the first GOP debate opened Wednesday with a shoutout to Anthony’s music, a folksy lament topping the charts about the frustrations of a performing-course human being who toils for small wages and sees his meager earnings eaten up by taxes.
“It’s aggravating looking at persons on conservative information striving to determine with me like I’m 1 of them,” Anthony stated.
