MIAMI — The sister of a previous basketball player from St. Thomas College on Monday spoke out right after her brother and his mate ended up both equally fatally shot over the weekend in Miami.
Antoine Joe, 26, and Tyler Bradley Royal, 24, died right after an individual opened fire on the vehicle they have been in all-around 4 p.m. Sunday on NW 12th Avenue close to the intersection of 42nd Road.
“He was a sweetheart,” said Ashley Joe, who explained to CBS Information Miami’s Peter D’Oench that she is reeling from his dying. “My brother stayed to himself. He under no circumstances bothered any one. He was real humble and he beloved basketball. He intended a ton to the household. I come to feel lost with no him. I can’t believe this occurred, notably to somebody who didn’t trouble anyone.”
Police have not determined a suspect in the killings and a reward of up to $5,000 was becoming made available to assistance capture the shooter.
