MIAMI – Miami Hearth Rescue captain Nicholas Wohl and TJ, who he rescued from a lethal house hearth, have fashioned a lifelong bond.

Now Wohl and his fellow fighters are committed to helping TJ navigate life’s troubles.

Wohl said TJ is resilient as he overcomes a substantial reduction and tackles new problems. TJ struggles with reading through and talking.
