MIAMI GARDENS – With teaching camp underway, the Miami Dolphins are making roster moves.

On Friday, the Fins introduced that they have signed cornerback Mark Gilbert

Gilbert has played in eight profession video games, all with Detroit in 2021. He recorded 3 tackles, 1 pass defensed and one particular compelled fumble. Gilbert was most not long ago with the Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL, where he totaled 33 tackles (29 solo) and led the league with four interceptions.

He was on the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad for most of the 2022 year. Gilbert performed collegiately at Duke and signed with the Steelers as an undrafted college or university no cost agent on May perhaps 2, 2021.

The Dolphins also declared that they have waived fullback John Lovett.

Lovett joined the Dolphins on Feb. 18, 2022, and put in the 2022 year on wounded reserve. He performed in 8 NFL game titles with Inexperienced Bay in 2020, totaling a few carries for six yards and registering 4 exclusive teams stops.

Lovett originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college no cost agent with Kansas Town on May 9, 2019. He played quarterback and working back at Princeton.
