MIAMI – US Vice President Kamala Harris has turned down Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ invitation to participate in a discussion about Black record tips in the point out.
On Tuesday afternoon, talking at an African Methodist Episcopal conference in Orlando, Harris said, “Appropriate listed here in Florida they program to train students that enslaved folks benefited from slavery. On Monday, DeSantis invited Harris to Florida to focus on the state’s new Black historical past curriculum following she delivered remarks blasting the new standards for suggesting enslaved people benefited from techniques applied in compelled labor.
