GENEVA, Florida — A doggy died immediately after wildlife officials say it was still left in a scorching motor vehicle in Seminole County.
According to a report from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, officers were referred to as to Jolly Gator Fish Camp in Geneva on July 2.
On arrival, officers witnessed a male, identified as Jeffrey Dwayne Willis, making an attempt to revive the dog.
The attempts ended up unsuccessful.
According to the report, Willis said he had been on his airboat for two hours and forgot he remaining the puppy inside of the truck.
Willis was put under arrest for animal cruelty and booked in the Seminole County Jail.
