A federal decide has denied Donald Trump’s request for a new trial in the E. Jean Carroll case – obtaining the jury who identified that the previous president sexually abused and defamed Carroll did not achieve a “critically faulty end result.”

“The jury in this situation did not achieve ‘a seriously faulty end result,” Judge Lewis Kaplan mentioned. “Its verdict is not ‘a miscarriage of justice.'”

Trump had questioned for the new trial right after the jury awarded journal columnist E. Jean Carroll $5 million in damages.

“Now that the court has denied Trump’s movement for a new demo or to lower the amount of money of the verdict, E Jean Carroll appears to be like ahead to receiving the $5 million in damages that the jury awarded her in Carroll II.
