MIAMI – The Broward Sheriff’s Workplace declared the arrest of previous Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea commissioner and previous city hearth chief, James Silverstone, on many rates relevant to transmitting youngster pornography.
Investigators explained their investigation started in late April, as BSO detectives began looking into a computer system user downloading baby pornography.
BSO reported additional than 210 documents contained illustrations or photos and films of boy or girl pornography led them to Silverstone, 62, as a suspect.

Silverstone turned himself in to BSO detectives Thursday to face 10 rates of transmission of kid pornography by digital product.
In the past, Silverstone also served as a volunteer Santa Claus in the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, authorities claimed.
