MIAMI – A firefighter is struggling with 4 counts of attempted sexual battery, in accordance to Miami-Dade police.
Investigators say Jose Lopez, 49, climbed on best of a feminine firefighter at the fireplace station and tried to sexually assault her.
Police reported that the woman, uncovered that Lopez had finished this to one more lady.
The incident was documented to the department’s inner affairs, who in switch forwarded it to the Miami-Dade Law enforcement Section.
Immediately after more investigation, and collaborating with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Business office, detectives had been able to get an arrest warrant for Lopez for a number of counts of tried sexual battery.
Law enforcement Director Alfredo “Freddy” Ramirez had this to say about the arrest, “It infuriates me to discover that a person of my firefighters was arrested for trying to sexually assault his co-personnel. The perfectly-staying and safety of our personnel is of upmost importance, and I will constantly just take any allegations of this mother nature extremely severely.
