$5,000 reward provided in Travis Turner murder investigation, family members pleads for assist


MIAMI – On Monday afternoon, the spouse and children of murder victim Travis Turner, together with their legal professional, stood exterior the location where by he took his remaining breath, inquiring the public for aid and for all those accountable to come forward.

“I truly feel like each individual bone in my overall body is broken,” shared Travis’ mother, Lorraine.

The 29-yr-old victim’s mom continues to be shattered soon after her son was shot and killed inside of the VYPZ Lounge, a Lauderdale Lakes nightclub in the early early morning of July 4th. 

“My son was a very good, very good boy or girl,” extra his mom.

Surveillance video clip from a close by business confirmed patrons running for their life that morning.  Broward Sheriff’s deputies informed us they arrived and observed Turner useless inside of the establishment.

“His mom woke up and cooked him breakfast, not knowing that her newborn had passed,” shared the family’s attorney, Jeremy McLymont.  “You viewed him cry and gasp, watched lifetime ooze out of his human body,” he included, referring to Turner’s killer.

“You took someone harmless, someone good, someone who was the pillar of our household,” shared the victim’s young sister Teffanie Turner.

Teffanie explained to reporters she was meant to take part in her university graduation.  Rather, she buried her brother above the weekend.

“His aspirations have been minimize short by a cruel act, leaving us to siblings, dad and mom, spouse and children, and friends to decide up the items and search for answers,” said Teffanie.  “We will not rest until all those accountable are held accountable for their steps and the full excess weight of the law arrives down on this.”

The Broward Sheriff’s Office environment tells CBS Information Miami that “detectives continue performing on this energetic and ongoing investigation.”  And there is a reward “of up to $5,000 for data that leads to an arrest.”
