Previous UM player Ray Lewis III, son of NFL wonderful, dies at 28


MIAMI – Former University of Miami soccer player Ray Lewis III, the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Ray Lewis, has died at the age of 28, according to a social media post from his young brother.

Rahsaan Lewis posted about his brother’s death on Instagram on Thursday.

“Really are unable to imagine I’m even typing this but RIP huge brother. A real angel I pray [you’re] at peace now for the reason that [I know] how significantly you was [really] hurtin,” the put up examine.

“I adore you I adore you I love you,” Lewis added.

Lewis III created a identify for himself participating in substantial school soccer for Lake Mary Preparatory Faculty in Florida.

Like his father, he went on to enjoy college or university football for the University of Miami prior to going to Coastal Carolina and then Virginia Union.

His father is a Baltimore Ravens legend, successful two Super Bowl titles in 2001 and 2013. He was also named NFL Defensive Player of the Calendar year in 2000 and 2003 and elected to the NFL Hall of Fame in 2018.
