MIAMI GARDENS — A man was hospitalized with several gunshot wounds following an apparent taking pictures in northwest Miami-Dade County Tuesday evening.
Close to 6:18 p.m., Miami Gardens Police Division responded to the 19900 block of Northwest 27th Avenue with regards to a Shotspotter Notify.
A man was discovered at the scene with many gunshot wounds while the suspect fled the scene, heading westbound in a dark-colored SUV, law enforcement told CBS News Miami.
Miami-Dade Hearth Rescue airlifted the target to a neighborhood clinic.
No additional information was offered as the investigation continues.
