FORT LAUDERDALE – The last day of faculty in Broward didn’t go off without the need of a hitch at two Fort Lauderdale schools right after a scholar introduced a gun on campus.
According to law enforcement, the pupil at Dillard Superior School, at 2501 NW 11th Street, confirmed the gun to yet another pupil all around 7:15 a.m. Just following 9 a.m., the law enforcement have been notified and officers were being despatched to the school.
In an abundance of warning, equally Dillard Superior School and Dillard Elementary were positioned on lockdown.
Even though officers were searching the school, they discovered that the pupil who reportedly experienced the gun had still left it.
Just in advance of 10 a.m., the pupil was observed in the 700 block of NW 10th Avenue and safely and securely taken into custody.
The lockdown was lifted and universities ended up transitioned to ‘code secure’ which usually means every person was brought within, outside the house doors ended up locked and company returned to typical.
