Winter SPRINGS — A 13-yr-previous boy was hospitalized Tuesday soon after becoming bitten by an alligator in Winter Springs.
Trappers ended up known as to the section of Howell Creek that evening right after the boy called 911.
“I can wander. I just got bit by a gator,” a 911 caller claimed.
In spite of currently being bitten by a gator, he remained so quiet.
“I am Ok, although. I can stroll and I can stand. I am fantastic. It just stings a very little bit, but I am fantastic,” the caller mentioned.

“We see little ones leaping into the creek all the time from just down the road. Swimiming around in the h2o and it’s a huge problem for most people in this group,” the neighbor mentioned.
The report claims the boy and some buddies had been swimming and were being acquiring out because of to a storm.
“He was coming exterior the h2o. He said that the alligator arrived out of the h2o and little bit him on the hip,” Wintertime Springs police Capt. Doug Seely claimed.

“These waterways are very active. We’re quite busy in below,” Jerry Flynn, a condition nuisance alligator trapper, reported.
Trappers were being known as Tuesday night and ended up back again at the scene in the early morning by midday.
“We set traps out below and we noticed a gator this early morning, and we went in advance to see if we could get him out of in this article. So far we have been unsuccessful, but we still have traps set,” Flynn mentioned.
Law enforcement stated the teen was performing well–all things deemed.
“They treated him last night, he is in superior spirits and they are hoping to launch him today,” Seely mentioned.
The trapping will go on.
“We will not quit. We are likely to trap this issue and get him out of listed here. Get these waterways risk-free all over again,” Flynn explained.
