MIAMI – An EF- tornado touched down in SW Miami-Dade on Thursday afternoon creating damage to assets, trees and overturning a significant 18-wheeler truck.

People who perform close by say they noticed the twister touch down, blowing debris into the air as it traveled to the south — southwest, in the location of SW 147th Ave and 200th Street.
Investigators from the Nationwide Temperature Company have been on the scene. They verified to CBS Information Miami that this was a tornado,
On the way, it blew about an 18-wheeler. The driver mentioned his truck flipped simply because of the tornado. He was taken to the medical center, but is predicted to be alright.
Just feet away, that tornado took out trees and element of the roof of a household constructed in the early 1900’s.
“The total roof cam off, element of the roof on the property that went through andrew was taken off. The avocado trees from like 4 rows are down and the trees are 30 or 40 a long time previous,” mentioned Christa Ingram
The tornado also strike a close by avocado grove splitting some trees, knocking off avocados and blowing in excess of a fence.
