FORT LAUDERDALE — A male was taken into custody at a Dania Seaside motel soon after he allegedly attacked a Broward County Sheriff’s Office deputy early Wednesday morning before barricading himself into a place at the property, authorities mentioned.
The male, who was not discovered, was arrested by the sheriff’s SWAT staff just after deputies had been identified as to the Rodeway Inn & Suites at 2440 S.R. 84 soon ahead of 5:45 a.m., according to a assertion by the sheriff’s office.

Deputies ended up called to the spot about a disturbance and when they arrived just one of the deputies was attacked by the suspect, investigators stated.
The deputy fired his gun in advance of the gentleman returned to a room and refused to come out. He was afterwards arrested by the county’s SWAT device, according to investigators.
The sheriff’s business office stated it does not look the man was struck by the deputy’s gun.
