MIAMI — South Florida will see a lot more storms throughout the afternoon and evening.
Meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez explained the afternoon heat will deliver gasoline for the storms immediately after a primarily dry begin to the day.
There is a 70 p.c chance for rain Friday.
“Some of the storms could change robust to severe,” Gonzalez mentioned, incorporating that there could be an isolated twister along with the prospect for hail and heavy downpours.
The prospect for moist weather drops more than the weekend with only a 40 p.c probability of rain on Saturday and a 30 % prospect on Saturday, according to Gonzalez.
The substantial temperature Friday is envisioned to rise to the upper 80s with lows in the mid-70s.
