MIAMI — Miami-Dade police on Sunday were browsing for the person who shot and killed a person late Saturday night following an argument led to gunfire, officers reported.

Derrick Houston Jr., 19, of Homestead, died at the scene after being shot several times, in accordance to a published statement by law enforcement.
Law enforcement did not say if they have recognized any suspects in link with the incident, which happened shortly ahead of 10:30 p.m. at SW 260th Terrace and 130th Avenue.
Investigators reported a group of persons had been in the again of house when various males started arguing in the roadway before the dispute turned physical.
At some position, somebody pulled out a gun and began firing, hanging Houston many periods.

The victim’s girlfriend, talking on issue of anonymity, told CBS Information Miami that he was attending a Memorial Day pool bash when the incident occurred.
She explained he attempted to walk away from the scene but that was when the gunfire started.
“They shot and killed the really like of my live,” she mentioned.
The people today involved fled from the scene in advance of law enforcement arrived.
There was a large police existence as investigators searched for clues. At least two cars had been towed from the scene.
