NEW YORK (AP) — Miami’s Jimmy Butler was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for not collaborating in demanded media availability immediately after Game 3 of the Eastern Meeting finals.
Butler did not converse to reporters pursuing the Heat’s 128-102 victory on Sunday that gave them a 3- direct over the Boston Celtics. The Heat can gain the collection and progress to the NBA Finals with a victory Tuesday evening.
NBA Television set, which has been televising the postgame press conferences, teased that Butler would be coming to the podium through its protection, but the star forward in no way appeared. Gabe Vincent, Bam Adebayo and Caleb Martin as a substitute adopted mentor Erik Spoelstra.
