Janelle Monáe is heading on tour.
The American singer, rapper and actress has declared that she will be heading on a North American tour in support of her future album – “The Age of Satisfaction” – which is due out on June 9 through Wondaland Arts Culture/Atlantic Records. This marks the 37-12 months-old singer’s initial album in five many years given that 2018’s “Dirty Personal computer.”
The 26-town trek, which is titled the “Age of Enjoyment Tour,” will kick off on August 30 in Seattle, Clean., winding via a full of 26 U.S. and Canadian towns right before wrapping up in Inglewood, Cali., on Oct 18.
Monáe recently advised Rolling Stones in an interview that “being an artist will get lonely” and the new album has assisted to calm her nervousness.
“I assume getting an artist receives lonely,” Monáe claimed. “Most people today really don’t have an understanding of what’s going on in my mind. Neighborhood has been so beneficial to me it is attractive that I have a title referred to as The Age of Enjoyment due to the fact it really re-centers me. It is not about an album anymore. I’ve improved my complete f—— way of living.”
Presale for tickets will go reside on Thursday, June 1 for Verizon subscribers, whilst the normal sale will start out Wednesday, June 7 at 10 am, just two days in advance of the album itself drops.
