BOSTON – A guy accused of leaving explosives on the Harvard College campus claims he was responding to a Craigslist advertisement.
The FBI stated William Giordani, 54, was allegedly caught on digicam very last month placing down a bag filled with Roman candles, bottle rockets and wires.
About an hour later on, an individual called Harvard University police from a New Jersey selection indicating 3 bombs have been placed on campus and demanded dollars.
Giordani advised law enforcement he was answering a Craigslist advert from a male recognized as “Nguyen Mihn” with a New Jersey telephone number who wanted goods delivered for his son.
The FBI mentioned Giordani afterwards admitted that he knew what he did was completely wrong and that he “just set some fireworks in a risk-free and place them at Harvard.”
The individual who posted on craigslist continue to has not been determined.
Giordani was arrested on federal expenses of aiding and abetting an extortion endeavor and conspiracy.
