FORT LAUDERDALE — Mayor Dean Trantalis has declared May well as Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the city, in accordance to a proclamation he created at the 12th Once-a-year Asian-Pacific American Heritage Celebration held at the Museum of Discovery and Science.
Trantalis issued the proclamation to identify and celebrate the contributions of the Asian American Pacific Islander group in Fort Lauderdale.
The announcement arrived as element of the yearly celebration, which featured cultural performances, displays, and educational things to do.
