(CNN) — Dutch police arrested 154 soccer supporters in Amsterdam on Saturday owing to the singing of antisemitic chants, a law enforcement statement stated.
According to the assertion, the football enthusiasts ended up warned many periods to end singing as they designed their way to the Johan Cruijff Arena on the subway.
The supporters were arrested after arriving at the Strandvliet station, the assertion explained.
The arrests came on the same day Ajax and AZ Alkmaar were being playing a match at the arena.
The police assertion did not specify which team the detained fans supported.
