FORT LAUDERDALE — The Broward County General public College Board on Tuesday has named three finalists for the superintendent’s occupation as the district looks to use a new educational institutions chief.
The board introduced its assortment next a approximately three hour discussion about the candidates. The a few finalists are:
- Peter Licata, who is an assistant superintendent in Palm Seashore County.
- Luis Solano, who is deputy superintendent of colleges in Detroit and was a former high university principal for Miami-Dade.
- Sito Narcisse, a faculty superintendent in East Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Dr Valerie Wanza who has been with the Broward university district for more than 30 decades and who had great help from local educators did not make it to the list of semi-finalists.
The Broward County voted in February to use the lookup firm of McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C to find a new universities main soon after selecting to immediately element methods with controversial previous colleges chief Dr. Vicky Cartwright.
The board voted earlier this month to increase the position lookup for a new superintendent.
The college board adopted an amended timeline to retain the services of a new universities main, that includes:
- Finalists picked May 30.
- June 14 group input.
- June 15 new superintendent chosen
