MIAMI – Public college learners in Broward County will only be allowed to have distinct backpacks and luggage on faculty campuses starting with the start of the 2023/24 university 12 months.
“The proactive evaluate, which applies to all grades from pre-K – 12, is an extra layer of security becoming extra to the District’s ongoing basic safety and safety attempts,” college officers declared.

The new measure does not apply to teachers, team, volunteers or guests.
