DORAL – Crews with Miami-Dade Fireplace Rescue expended Thursday sharing some everyday living-preserving recommendations times immediately after the Foodstuff and Drug Administration accepted an over-the-counter Narcan nasal spray.
Initial responders want to make absolutely sure South Floridians know how to use them, in case of an overdose unexpected emergency.
They held a demonstration in Doral.
“The applicator is launched into the nostril all the way in, up until it meets the fingers. And at that stage, you press the plunger which administers the medicine,”
Narcan is a life-preserving medication that can reverse a lethal overdose by blocking the consequences of opioids enabling a man or woman to breathe once more.
