FORT LAUDERDALE – A lockdown at a Lauderdale Lakes high school was lifted following a gun scare on campus.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Workplace, soon immediately after 7:45 a.m. deputies and users of the Risk Administration Unit were despatched to Boyd H. Anderson Substantial University, at 3050 N.W. 41st Road, after a university student reportedly saw a different scholar carrying what appeared to be a gun.
A perimeter was established and Boyd Anderson together with three other colleges in the place had been put on lockdown.
Deputies found the pupil in query and decided the product was a toy gun. The sheriff’s place of work did not say if the college student will experience any fees.
