FORT LAUDERDALE — People of a Fort Lauderdale neighborhood no for a longer period have to shelter in put after police took a person in custody.
Earlier on Friday, law enforcement urged people to shelter as they checked on reports of an armed male on a balcony.
In a social media write-up, law enforcement explained persons in the region south of Broward Boulevard in between Andrews Avenue to SW 3rd Avenue/Nugent Avenue should continue being inside.
Just right after 1:30 p.m., law enforcement claimed the male was in custody, they had been no for a longer period inquiring persons to continue to be place, and targeted visitors in the region experienced returned to regular.
No injuries have been described.
