Singer and rapper Aaron Carter unintentionally drowned in his bathtub thanks to sedatives he’d taken and gasoline utilized in spray cleaners he experienced inhaled, a coroner’s report reported Tuesday.

Carter, the young brother of the Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, was identified submerged and useless at age 34 in the bathtub of his dwelling in Lancaster, California, on Nov. 5, the autopsy report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner reported.

The sedative alprazolam, typically bought below the model title Xanax, was found in his method, as was the compressed fuel difluoroethane, which the report claims is “a fuel typically utilized as a propellant in air spray cleaners,” which “can induce thoughts of euphoria when inhaled.”

The two substances made him incapacitated in the tub, and caused the drowning, the report reported.

The autopsy was carried out the working day soon after Carter’s death, but the success have been withheld for toxicology checks, which generally just take months.
