TALLAHASSEE – A Cooper Metropolis man claimed a $1 million prize in the Florida Lottery’s 500X THE CASH scratch-off activity.
Giovanni Salazar, 44, selected to receive his winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
Salazar acquired the successful ticket from a Publix shop on South Flamingo Highway in Cooper Town.
The retailer will get a $2,000 bonus commission for providing the profitable scratch-off ticket.
The $50 activity, 500X THE Hard cash, options a prime prize of $25 million, the major ever offered on a Florida scratch-off game. The game’s all round odds of profitable are 1-in-4.50.
