TALLAHASSEE — A point out lawmaker has authored a monthly bill that would demand bloggers who write about Gov. Ron DeSantis or other Florida elected officers to register with the condition.
If authorized by the legislature and signed into law by the governor, SB 1316, which was released by Republican Condition Sen. Jason Brodeur, would impose fines on bloggers who are unsuccessful to register with the state.
The legislation would mandate that the bloggers disclose how a lot cash they are staying compensated for their posts.
The bloggers would also have to file standard reviews to update the status of their original posts if additions ended up made.
The proposed laws has drawn issues from some on the net bloggers who have reported it runs afoul of the Very first Amendment, which assures liberty on the push and does not allow for encroachment on most penned actions.
