MIAMI – A Miami-Dade police detective was grazed by a bullet Wednesday afternoon whilst he was conducting a narcotics investigation in Northwest Miami. 

It happened in the area of NW 43rd Street and NW 5th Avenue.

The detective, who is expected to be Okay, was transported to Jackson Memorial Medical center for treatment and then launched.

Law enforcement claimed the detective was conducting a narcotics investigation and was attempting to arrest an individual when an mysterious issue ambushed the detective from at the rear of and shot him in the back of the head. 

A perimeter was right away established and the subject matter from the first narcotics investigation was taken into custody.

The unknown detective is an 18-12 months veteran of the section.
