FORT LAUDERDALE – Def Leppard’s drummer Rick Allen was attacked Monday outside the Fort Lauderdale where he was remaining.
Allen was in city to execute a live performance with Motley Crue.
According to law enforcement, Allen was smoking a cigarette outside the house of the Four Seasons when a male ran out from driving a pillar the place he had been hiding and attacked him.
That person, discovered as 19-yr-outdated Max Edward Hartley, then reportedly attacked a lady who had run out of the hotel to assistance Allen.
Hartley then ran away. He was arrested at a close by lodge, where he was allegedly breaking vehicle home windows.
He has been billed with two counts of battery, four counts of prison mischief, and abusing an aged or disabled adult.
Allen, who dropped his arm in a motor vehicle accident in 1984, instructed law enforcement that he wants to prosecute.
Hartley bailed out of the Broward County jail on Tuesday.
