FORT LAUDERDALE — A Broward County Sheriff’s Office deputy has been arrested and going through expenses in connection with a targeted visitors prevent from two decades back in which he deployed his stun gun .

Carlos Ferrufino, 34, has been demand with two counts of misdemeanor battery, a person count of tampering with evidence and one rely of petit theft, in accordance to the police report.
He turned himself in to the Broward County jail but it was not quickly clear Tuesday night if bond had been established in the case.
In accordance to a report, Ferrufino, a sheriff’s office personnel considering the fact that considering that August 2014, has been put on unpaid suspension.
Investigators claimed the deputy allegedly employed a stun gun on a driver throughout the Jan. 25, 2021 traffic prevent in Dania Beach front, in accordance to court paperwork.
When relations came to the scene, a person of them pulled out a cell mobile phone and began recording the deputies in advance of Ferrufino allegedly knocked the cellphone out of the relative’s hand.
The deputy took the mobile cellphone but did not switch it in, in accordance to officers.
