West Park company operator shot at through burglary try

FORT LAUDERDALE – A West Park business owner dodged a bullet – practically – in the course of an early early morning theft endeavor.

Just immediately after 2 a.m., Broward sheriff’s deputies were despatched to a business near the 5900 block of W Hallandale Seashore Boulevard to test out a call concerning a burglary in development.

When they arrived, they listened to gunshots.

A perimeter was set up though the deputies went inside. There they uncovered the owner who reported a human being experienced broken and shot at him. The operator was not wounded.

A sheriff’s helicopter and K9 officers had been known as in to help in the search. The spot was canvassed but the theft suspect was not identified.
