MIAMI – As if Florida Worldwide College did not have more than enough to be proud of. Now, they have a beer named just after the university.
The brew, Sunblazer Golden Ale, crafted by Miami’s Defeat Tradition, is named just after FIU’s initially mascot, the Sunblazer.
“This is a beer for anybody who believes in seizing chance and hustling really hard to make it transpire,” explained Alan Espino, FIU alumnus and co-founder of Beat Culture. “FIU performs a substantial function in Miami’s society and financial enhancement, and this ale is now element of that tale.”
“Partnering with Beat Society was an easy choice,” reported FIU Assistant Vice President Eduardo Merille, a beer enthusiast who worked with the Conquer Lifestyle group to deliver FIU Sunblazer Golden Ale to fruition. “Both of those FIU and Defeat Tradition are passionate, ground breaking and very Miami.”
The beer is by now easily available at on-campus restaurants and premiered at FIU baseball’s residence opener on Friday.
The Sunblazer will also be readily available inside the FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Administration and FIU Alumni Association tents at the Goya Foods’ Grand Tasting Village at the Food stuff Community South Beach front Wine & Food items Festival presented by Cash One particular, which runs Feb. 24 -26, 2023.
“Golden in coloration with pillowy foam and aroma of gentle grain with a citrus take note from the herbal hops, FIU Sunblazer Golden Ale is great on your own or paired with a food,” its makers said.
A portion of the proceeds will profit FIU.
