MIAMI – Police reported a baby had to be transported to a neighborhood healthcare facility Monday afternoon after a automobile ended up submerged in an SW Miami-Dade canal.
It transpired at about 4 p.m. in the place of SW 127th Avenue and SW 232nd Road in Homestead.
Photographs from Chopper4 confirmed what appeared to be a submerged vehicle in a system of drinking water less than a bridge.
Homestead police and Miami-Dade police units could be witnessed close to the canal. Fire rescue models were also at the scene, rendering support.
The victim, who was explained as a minimal, was pulled out of the car by a good Samaritan, in accordance to police.
Other folks in the automobile were being unharmed.
Authorities are investigating what may perhaps have caused the car to go into the system of drinking water.
